This course will teach participants on the benefits of cupping and include a practical on how to apply cupping on individuals. The courses will also focus on general contraindications of cupping and the different techniques that can be used for different conditions. Participants will learn about different types of cupping and learn how to use cupping in general. Participants will also learn about the most appropriate location to place the cupping in order to target various conditions with the understanding of some of the contraindications related to the modality.

Within this archetype system there are five different personality types. This course will focus on accurately diagnosing and selecting appropriate acupuncture points. Participants will learn how to confidently ask the appropriate questions and analyze the answers to formulate the best diagnosis. From there, participants will formulate the most appropriate treatment plan to ensure that the patient is getting the most effective treatment possible.

The course will be a mostly practical course where students will be able to look at many of their colleagues’ ears and tongues and feel each others’ pulses. Since learning TCM diagnostics is dependant on volume, faculty will facilitate this class to ensure that students are getting the volume of training and confirmation that they are seeing or feeling accurately.
